With a deep belief in padel’s potential as Sri Lanka’s next big lifestyle sport, he envisions Colombo Aces as not just a team, but a brand that connects communities, inspires the next generation, and reshapes urban culture.
Ranga Wimalasuriya, Co-Owner, is a seasoned leader in business development and innovation with over 13 years of experience. A University of Chicago graduate and Chevening Fellow at Oxford, Ranga’s vision is bold and future-focused. When he’s not driving growth at Amrak Institute of Medical Sciences or leading business development at Ceylon Hospitals PLC, he’s exploring how to blend sport, entertainment, and lifestyle to build brands with lasting impact. For him, padel is more than a game — it’s a platform for cultural reinvention.
Saurika Livindu, Co-Owner, is the team’s resident speedster and spirit of the court. A competitive racer for over 15 years and a graduate of Brock University, Ontario, Canada, Saurika brings intensity, precision, and boundless energy. Having discovered padel just a year ago, he’s approached it with a racer’s mindset: fast, fearless, and full throttle. At just 22, his enthusiasm is infectious and his drive is undeniable.
Together, Viren, Ranga, and Saurika form a powerhouse ownership team — combining experience, youth, and vision — determined to make Colombo Aces a force on and off the court. Whether it’s electrifying matches, lifestyle experiences, or community engagement, the Aces are here to lead padel’s rise in Sri Lanka.
